    You'd have to ask them.

That's my point. "Seem" is so open to interpretation, and Staggs' comments so vague to begin with, that it's basically meaningless. Certainly nothing to stress yourself out over.

    Strange, and downright comic.

You're right, the comments are so vague that they can be open to interpretation and can mean anything. But on the other hand, when you got so many people claiming about where Star Wars is going to go, it's difficult to ignore that.

Sure, some developments are fairly well circulated long before the official announcement and or start of construction (like the Soarin' and TSMM capacity expansions in WDW) while other projects (like Princess Fantasy Faire or DCA's Frozen Fun event) seem to pop up out of nowhere. For every project that is correctly predicted by the online rumors, there are countless projects that were never rumored, and still more that were rumored but so completely different from the online chatter that they hardly have any real similarities

It's fun to hear the rumors and think about the possibilities that might be, and what they're considering for the parks. But putting too much faith into those rumors is always a delicate situation, since so few of them actually turn out as told. It's best to wait for official information (which is also often incomplete) before trying to connect the dots to see what's actually going on

Exactly. There's not a single site that has anything like a perfect record on rumors/predictions (and the best known have gotten spottier lately), and anyone and his brother can (and often do) post to a site like this, and claim some inside knowledge they clearly do not have.

Take ALL this stuff with several dozen grains of salt, and take the attitude that "it's fun to speculate, but it's ONLY speculation," and you'll have a lot more fun. And remember, it's never a good idea to stress out over anything you can't control anyway.

The folks working on SWLand, and upper management and anyone who has seen the feasibility/impact projects knows where a major land would go, especially with the caveat that old stuff won't be torn out and that there isn't a third gate on the horizon.

Do the CM's working the churro carts know? Probably not, though I'm sure there are rumors.

No pun intended, but you've go to have *ears* for what people are saying. I've seen some so-called fan sites "interview" former Imagineers where they don't really care to understand what they're being told and kinda continue with their own narrative. What happens at DLR is a narrative written by WDI, *not* by fan sites . . .

    >>> Especially when I just read from a poster on MiceChat that, according to some "insiders" with strong ties to management, the Star Wars as Toontown replacement rumor is still considered a go, but that Disney is trying to keep quiet about it.<<<

    Toontown isn't going anywhere.

    >>> I doubt there's going to be a 60th exhibit over there.<<<<

Typically, stuff like that goes on Main Street.

    >>> According to someone at WDWMagic.com, it was said that Toontown was not what the article referred to as a "favorite feature" of the park. They said that things could change, obviously, but that right now, Star Wars as Toontown replacement is still pretty likely.<<<

    Toontown isn't going anywhere.

I don't know why people didn't believe me when I said there won't be demolition of existing attractions.

A local motel owner in Anaheim backed-up my info about the Carousel being used as a pedestrian walkway, though that's a no-brainer.

Those folks may know where the land MAY go, but not where the land WILL go. That decision hasn't been made yet.

Personally, and this is just my opinion, but maybe they will use the former Innoventions space for a Star Wars attraction.

I had noticed from the article that, unlike what Screamscape had said, Staggs did not specify anything about location for Star Wars, not even whether it would go into a preexisting land or be its own land. Innoventions was not really what I would consider a "favorite feature", anyway.

I assume, by the way, that the bridge will route itself over the existing crosswalk on Harbor--because, why not?

When do they start construction on Trainsland again? You know, the big rumor you also "broke" ON THIS SITE?
