After last night, I'm thinking that in Sideways World, it's showing their lives as not so much what would happen if they never crashed on the island, but more importantly, what would happen to their lives if they were never touched by Jacob and manipulated. It would seem that in this reality, Locke still has a good relationship with his father (photos on his desk and comments made by Helen about inviting him to the wedding). Which would mean that Locke was never pushed out the window by his father. So how did he end up in the wheelchair now?

But what a fantastic episode then again all John Locke episodes are great that's just a general rule about Lost.

It does hit my theory that Jack will be the new Jacob. And I can see the show ending with both him and Locke sitting at the beach watching a new group of "castaways" coming to the island and the battle between the two continues on.

The questions had last night: Is Sayid really evil? Look where he killed Dogen and Lennon, in the pool that brings you back to life. Did he do that so Dogen could recruit people to fight against FLocke?
