Do the profits from F&B and merchandise have to cover the additional labor to keep the park open?

The resorts support EMH financially (i.e. a portion of their revenue goes to pay for EMH like it does to support all park benefits) and there is a minimum attendance number to support that revenue and that derived from extended hours - like F&B and merchandise.

The park is severely lacking in so many areas, something exciting needs to be done there.

Next time you watch a show like World of Color or Fantasmic! think about the decibel level of the show, how sound travels and the impact that might have on the resident animals. It isn't fireworks per se at all - it is the noise pollution caused by any large scale show.

I don't know, noise level seems like a weak excuse, when they already have a few loud things in the park. If it's such an issue, just build a new area for it. Add a lagoon somewhere.

As for the whiny brats - yeah it was better to be with overserved adults trying to pretend they were kids <sarcasm> they especially made for great bus passengers but I'm glad there was one congregation place. AS for me I choose to go to adult oriented places when I seek entertainment- plays / shows/ nice restaurants -- museums etc.. not a theme park. When I am there it is all about the kids... but that's just me..

How else do you hold onto your market share? You'll loose guests. ----- none of us will ever know exactly what Walt meant so it's sort of a mute point, but I do know he was also good friends with Ray Kroc from McDonalds. When Ray was around he wanted more things in the restaurants to as point- of rinstance he didn't want pay phones because he didn't want people 'hanging around' them... Did Walt mean adult rides also- and shows - or did he mean on site bars and lounges ? Maybe both- don't know- but neither does anyone else. I can only share my experiences and some of them weren't pleasant. I don't travel with the family to WDW so that I can seek adult only entertainment. That doesn't make me right or wrong, it just makes me , well me. I love to go to Irish bars- and do so all the time at home, but the kids are not with me. I like comedy clubs and drinks with umbrella's in them at times- but again I separate that as much as possible from WDW. It's just an opinion folks- nothing more. Pleasure Island didn't have much to do with my vacations there, as we did not go there- so my only interactions were late nite bus rides with some who did. Now could they get loaded in their DVC units just as easily- you bet.

Much more than any time I was in PI or drinking around the world in Epcot. Should we get rid of soccer moms at the park too?

You can wash that away because some soccer Mom ( are you sure it was soccer ?) - snarled at you- that's fine. better than cleaning up puke off of an umbrella stroller while some retard who was reliving his college days stumbles around the bus- pretty similar- I can see your point. I stand corrected

Point is you should punish the masses for what a select group of dumbasses do.
