    That's right about when I STARTED watching it, and have been glued to the tv every season. And this past season was one of the best - there wasn't a person in the top 12 who wasn't at least a decent singer. And the top 3 were all excellent.

Do you really think Disney would spend millions on an attraction and then just dump it after one year? This will be open for at the very least 5 years because that's what the current contract is for the actual show. Then when the T.V. show finally gets cancelled, it will still run most likely without giving away a Dream Ticket. Disney will definitely get their money out of this attraction.

I can see those people going to DW for this particular chance. My kids have never tried out for AI (but might some day), but they sing at Opry's all over the state and you would be amazed at how many people come and watch these shows.

    How exactly does the audition process work?

    Well, there is precedent in the Disney parks. Superstar Limo was open for less than a year in DCA. And the boat ride in DAK changed its form very quickly, and then shut down even quicker. So Disney has done a dud or two. I don't think this new show is going to be one, but it's always possible.

    and I hate to classify rides by Tickets. IT think it is very outdated.
