This does address the basic DTD problem: without a weenie, rents in TAFKNAPI/WS are too high, and the area is pretty much maxed out with "grown-up" table-service restaurants. This just seems like an overly expensive weenie that won't pull in a steady crowd over the course of, say, at least 6 or 8 hours.

Setting up a similar process where you have to purchase a meal at DTD to get your Fastpass to the show would seem to be a slam-dunk for Downtown Disney. They would even have the ability to create a facility where you have to have a ticket to get in to the show, and you can't just watch it from the back or the sides.

Lots of shops that I will never buy anything from, lots of overpriced resturants, lots of people wandering around. Not a fan of La Nouba (though I know many love it), not really a fan of DisneyQuest. But I dont play favorites. I am not impressed with CityWalk at Univeral either.

People don't pay $$$$ to walk around a McDonalds and Legoland at 9pm. But they do!
