Although I don't think it'll reach the level it was for Leap Day. We can only pray for such on the behalf of CMs throughout the resort! *LOL*

Plus, a lot of the logjams came later in the evening that day, since people could arrive late and stay all night. I doubt that there will be a huge number of very late evening arrivals on June 15, with the parks closing at regular times. But anything could happen. Also, with the media day on June 14, there will be tons of advanced publicity, unlike the Leap Day event. I think the whole weekend will be interesting: Fri, June 15: First Day, but it's a weekday, and all SoCal APs are blocked out. Sat, June 16: all but Premium APs blocked out, but it's a weekend. Sun, June 17: Weekend, and all passes but SoCal Select valid. So, each day has its own dynamic.

This was a first-ever attempt, so they really had nothing to base a projection on.

It was an underwhelming crowd by that time. Oh it was busy, but it wasn't what we were expecting. Fast forward to 6/15/12; It'll-B-Nutz in comparison.

Those of us who were in line since the wee hours of the morning were let in AFTER the auxiliary line that was outside past Tony Roma's on Harbor. If they do this for CarsLand, (meaning free hats and bad line/crowd control) those of us planning to go are screwed. LOL! Everything worked fine during the 50th with the colored wrist bands. Everyone knew where they belonged. Maybe they need to think "worst case scenario" with the CarsLand opening and make sure to have a structured plan in place just in case. Just my humble opinion of course.

I was there for both events as well and the 50th was handled way way way better!
