So the media day get a WOC veiwing. or they do just like on regular days, the park "closes" but they still let you stay if your waiting for WOC.

Then, they clear out the non-media folk, and then the real party starts: that's when all of the free food and booze will be brought out, private WoC showing takes place, etc. Give the media the best time possible so that they have a positive slant to the reporting on the new DCA.

Make everything as open as possible for the media to do what they like, when they like, and everyone else to dress the place with humans.

The CM I talked to was REALLY nice, and basically said they're getting info in snippets all this week as things open up from preview to preview. Nothing, at this point, is taking dining reservations. Best we can tell, the wrist bands are a timing thing for Cars Land, but we don't now what timing that might be. From something posted elsewhere, some of the folks who had to RSVP for other versions of this are only getting into Cars Land from 2-6 pm. I don't know what our time will look like.

My gut says Carthay may be open, and they may not take reservations for anything just to keep it open for the press to go in and out at will. There's no real knowing at this point, however.

Not certain which day you are talking about, but the "real" party will be Wednesday the 13th. There will be a red carpet and all the hoopla...

I didn't know about that. My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail :). Looking at the park schedule, DCA closes at 9pm that day. So, if they have anything special going on after-hours, it must start quite late.
