Sigh...>> And this surprises you? Disney has so many people and (so many clueless people, present company excepted) that I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked a Contemporary CM where the California Grill was and they couldn't answer. And the whole Cross-U deal and having people picking up shifts across property hasn't helped either because while some (we won't name them here) might be very competent all over, you can have someone working at EPCOT who has never set foot in the park before snagging a shift at say the gift shop at the exit to The Seas. They aren't going to be able to answer any guest's questions that aren't in a Tell A Cast ... if they can even read and/or comprehend said question. Still, I think there should be a Disney 101 that ALL CMs have to take once during the year (you can change some info out etc but also make sure people have basics and the ability to find answers if they don't have them). I am old enough to remember when 'I don't know' was a fireable offense.

But at the same time, the show still plays on in Anaheim. Yes, demographics help that, but there's no reason for something like it here.

I'd really hate to see it close entirely (and shudder at the thought of Stitch possibly moving in!). Doesn't Tiki Room and Country Bears share the same building?? Was there any damage to it or any surrounding attractions?? Just curious to know how much was possibly affected.
