Disney will not close this attraction anytime soon. That would be like admitting that they made a boo-boo We'll have to wait YEARS before we see something new in that space!

FYI for you fanatics, she really liked Carousal of Progress. She'll be joining your ranks soon. I do wish I could have tried AE once before it was removed. It on that long list of rides I need on Video.

The reoccurring thread I read about SGE is that it is too scary for toddlers and not scary enough for teens and adults. I think that they should make the show MORE intense rather than less. Just recommend that it be a grade school and up show. Again I am very excited to check out the new projection FX in there.

Darkness = scared child = ruined experience for others. Barring a complete redesign, this would be one of the better options to level out the ride for everyone. And if Stitch were to be re-aimed for everyone above, say, 8 or 9 years of age, at least half their audience potentially disappears. Little kids love that little guy. All things considered, it's better for the kids to have a good time in Stitch while the adults smile and play along. Disney could rip a page right out of Space/Rock It Mountain and make two different experiences of Stitch: the tame, good-for-kids go at it during the daytime and the nice-and-dark, loud-and-awesome voyage at night. I think Disney's starting to realize the value of having a more customized experience for the varied tastes and preferences of parkgoing guests.

Also I think that SGE is a 5 year and up show, kind of like Mansion or Pirates. Even though I LOVED both of those when I was three. Stich in no more scary than Snow Whites Scary Adventures (the only ride that scared me as a child 3 and under). They dumbed down Snow White as well though. There is no way to please everyone so just narrow down your target audience just a little bit.
