Long live the characters and the happiness they bring to our meals!!

The only problem with this is it doesn't suit Team Disney's corporate agenda, which is making parents feel they must take their little princesses (and princes) for as many of these meals as possible or be labeled as bad parents. What did they ever do before character dining? And the outrageous prices -- I can get a fine steak at Shula's or Yachtsman -- for less than a mediocre pre-cooked, mass produced meal with a picture and or worthless litho ... all I can say is those folks are crazy.

I understand the frustration of people who don't enjoy character meals, but I love them - you get a much better chance to interact with the characters. And let's face it - I love eating! LOL.

The food, ambiance, and characters were just unbelievable. I was nearly moved to tears as I gazed out those gorgeous windows into Fantasyland, and Cinderella comes along to say hello! And the Princess tea at GF - well, it is a bit pricey, but it's out of the way and doesn't impinge upon anyone else's use of any of the restaurants, so I can accept it. The only complaint - everything is geared to little GIRLS, and those of us with boys (either directly or through an intermediate) are completely left out!

Oh well, guess its idiots like me that make it ok for Disney to keep messing with the dinner deals. Pretty soon you are going to have to get prioroity seating and pre pay over in Fronteer Land just to sit on the side of the walkway and eat a turkey leg! Well I guess that'd be ok too if someone comes around, places a coon skin cap on me and takes an included sepia tone photo of me and my kids stuffing our fat sweaty faces.

Disney sure is in touch with their customer base.
