But that was my park... in my neighborhood so I loved going again and again and again. I admit it lost some of the magic at times but I felt safe hanging out by myself or meeting up with a friend. And it was always a thrill when a friend or family member came on vacation so I could see things through their eyes. I cherish that time in my life and miss it so much I am considering moving back there again someday... under the right circumstances. So, from a local's perspective it makes perfect sense to me for the couple to do what they did. Would I do it? Probably not. But they got a pretty good prize at the end and I'm sure overall that had a great time getting there.

I experienced both for the first time last year and i wasnt all that thrilled with Universal. Potter looks amazing, but i didnt care much for the ride. I love Carsland also, but i wasnt blown away with RSR either.

I see people saying they wouldn't do it, and I see people poking fun at themselves for their own Disney obsession. With one exception, I don't think anyone has blatantly said anything mean or nasty. And imagine the fortune he could make if he merely switches to Burger King or Wendy's or Jack in the Box. "Believe it or not, I ate a Big Mac every day for 40 years. But the new Bacon Melt Extreme at (name of fast food rival) showed me just what I had been missing." Okay, not a fortune. But a couple hundred thousand I bet. The people at Knott's or Universal or Legoland should contact these folks and make them an offer. ; )
