If we are going to ramble on about everything else .. and not the Carthay Circle building ... I'll throw my 2 cents in .. and say - Hope to see Golden Dreams on DVD or Bluray. It's a decent film production ... And glad an elaborate omnimover ride is replacing it!

One minute Whoopie is serious and another minute she is cracking corny jokes. It's not HER fault. She did her best with what she was given. Remember the 50th Anniversary film with Steve Martin? That worked because the tone of the movie was consistently corny. (Donald Duck didn't hurt, either.)

The main problem with Golden Dreams was that it was plunked in a park that was short on substantive classic Disney style attractions like the one that's replacing it. In short people were bored. With all the new stuff being added to DCA's attraction agenda I think Golden Dreams would do fine in a new venue like the Carthay Circle building.
