But Parks and Resorts isn't the company's main product, they are a division and aren't even close to drawing the kind of revenue that other divisions do. Even if it did, the hotels are the significant profit centers within the division, not necessarily the parks, so the term "main product" is debatable, obviously.

The Fan/customer should be concerned about the loss of investment in the Parks. Have we been going to DL forever because we enjoy our hotel room? If we are supposed to accept the focus on investing in more hotels then I hope Disney management can accept our changing focus as in not bothering to go to the HotelLand.

I want the room to take me to a different location - which would fit with it surroundings and tells a story. Therefore those HM rooms don't fit into Port Orleans, just as the princess rooms don't fit. If they ever built a Haunted Village, they could have rooms which look haunted (still wouldn't be my taste) or if they built a hotel which is a castle, there could be rooms which look like a room where a princess would live.
