Back on topic...why would they test this first at Contemporary instead of, say, the Grand?

I wouldn't expect Disney to give free Internet because again this IS Disney ... the largest hotel chain on the planet that refuses to offer 800 numbers when its calls generally last a lot longer than a typical call to a Hilton call center. To be fair, though, the high end chains all charge while the cheaper options give it for free. So, much like Marriott charges at their regular hotels, while giving for free at Courtyard or SpringHill Suites etc ... Disney's equivalent would be to charge at deluxe resorts while offering it for free at value and mods (don't ever expect this). Moving on ... I don't know why, but WDW has truly become ground zero for morbid obesity ... I'd guess the average CM and guest are probably 60 pounds overweight. It goes against what was always the Disney Look ... and that is soooo apparent when you visit DLP, HKDL and TDR. You don't see one 'fat' CM. At WDW, unless they're an IPer or a CPer, you have to search to find a 'healthy' looking one. And for all the talk about Disney offering healthy choices for kids and adults, I'd say Disney has made things much worse for most guests by dumbing down offerings and making it easy for guests to eat the same unhealthy stuff at every location. Having had morbid obesity claim some of my loved ones, I just don't believe people should give free passes to people who don't lead healthy lifestyles. ... But I'll also say it is complicated. Americans don't live healthy lives for many reasons, blaming the Internet or TV or fast food is BS because those things exist worldwide. I think part of it has to do with people not having the time to exercise properly or prepare healthier meals as Americans work longer hours than many other nations ... not having access to proper healthcare is a factor for some ... people feeling hopeless (and I see this in the USA in a way I simply don't in Asia and Europe, which likely explains how religious we've become -- yeah, I'll say that) so they don't bother. I dunno ... it's a whole lot of things, but it is an epidemic and we're all paying for it. And with that, I'll go grab an unhealthy sandwich and a Coke (I did eat healthy earlier today ... and thanks for asking!)
