The only ones who don't pay are PAP holders. All other AP holders have to pay $79.00 if they want a parking add-on, or $12.00 a pop like everyone else if they don't.

Just the first floor of rooms at the Grand Californian (roughly the Eeyore, Kanga, Flower and King Louie sections of the lot on my old map) brings in more cash than charging 14 bucks a car in the whole lot ever would have. Especially considering they were only charging 7 bucks a car when they closed those sections to build the hotel. DCA isn't my all time favorite Disney parks ever, but I can now think of a few other Disney parks I would easily choose DCA over to spend the day at. And I've been to all of 'em except one.

I think the money would be better spent on a rapid bus route that would not only benefit Disneyland guests, but also the everyday working-class citizens of North Orange County, many of whom work at Disneyland.

Supposedly they have to do this (close the lot for 30 minutes and more) to write tickets. Why they can't chalk tires and write tickets with the lot open, I don't know. Why they can't let me in to slip into one of the many open slots to spend three minutes dropping a couple of people off, I don't know. I've asked an officer why the lot closes. He told me to talk to Disney. I asked Disney why the lot closes. Disney says the lot is City of Anaheim property (really?!?). FORGET IT.
