I would bet that it's not true which is why things are more centered around kids now. But even if there were more adults per each kid, I would bet that's less about people coming without kids and more because parents/grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc all come to Disneyland for that one kid or two in their life. And probably wouldn't take that trip without the kid(s). I'd think this would be especially true for out of town visitors. APers might be more adults though.

Yeah, but for the wrong reasons and because they are bored with just about everything else. I read somewhere that one of the reasons why Disney and OLC went with the adventure theme for DisneySea is because the ratio of guests at TDL is overwhelmingly female. The concept behind the second gate was an attempt to grow the resort's male audience in one fell swoop.

They recently (sometime in the last 12 months) replaced the rubber-ey flooring around the ball with planters and benches, making a nice little spot to relax, with the ball in the center.

I guess we can look forward to India and China landing astronauts on the moon, and then Mars. Meanwhile we won't even have a way to put our own astronauts into orbit once the shuttles are retired.
