Instead of almost $1500 for a Premium and 2 Deluxe passes next year (ours expire in December), I was thinking about: Annual Passes for Sea World and Legoland Season Passes for Lake Elsinore Storm (SD Padre's farm team) visiting northern California more (seeing friends) going to the beach (FREE!) seriously, I love Disneyland, but I wish when you bought an AP, you were grandfathered into the price you paid when you first bought your current pass. I was also considering a SoCal pass, but it still may not be worth it because of parking and too many blackouts (they've increased the number of those in past years, too)

I was merely offering up an observation, just like you. I've said nothing about my opinion about Sea World, etc., just that people could say the same things about DL that you have about the other places. That's all.

Oh no, I love animals and would never try to harm them. I ‘m just not all that entertained by them. Imagine me watching Shamu with a big yawn and checking my Facebook status. “Dr. Hans Reinhardt has turned into Captain Ahab right before our eyes. Imagine me watching Shamu with a big yawn and checking my Facebook status." Last time i went to Sea World i was entertained mostly by the people. Before the show everyone was Chanting and screaming "Shamu Shamu Shamu" It really was like a scary cult! I understand that once you have gone that it becomes a little boring. The only experience that i would repeat was visiting the Sandiego wild life zoo and doing the safari tour. It was the coolest thing being able to feed a Rhino and a Giraffe.
Originally Posted By fkurucz "The only experience that i would repeat was visiting the Sandiego wild life zoo" I think you meant the Wild Animal Park. When we lived in San Diego we had a membership in the SD Zoological Society. We lived not too far from the Wild Animal Park and our children were small at the time and my wife would take them there frequently. I heard that the old "monorail" is gone now, which I think is a real shame.
