WTF? I stay in hotel rooms some 30 plus nights in the US and never thought someone was going to come and kill me. I have heard of hotel staff giving other people the wrong room before, so i wouldnt be so paranoid.

Did it have a motel or hotel format? I've seen Ramadas that are motels.

So, when they tried to kick your door down, what did you do? Did you shoot them?

It was more of a motel format with the room doors open to the outside. We now only stay at places with internal hallways.

Except this time I was the "burglar". I went to the room number the desk clerk had written on the key-card folder and inserted the card in the lock. The light came up red so I took it out and inserted it again. Again red and I hear a voice from inside shout "this is not your room". Glad he didn't have a gun and decide to blast me through the door.

We called the front desk from a hall phone and asked the manager to get up there fast with a CORRECT room number and key-card.

Another person I worked with for 5 years had her accord stolen and it was never found I don't think. I could go on and on

Yeah, but this was a rifle. Not too many hotel safes a rifle would fit into, I reckon...
