That is really the indictment, and I think the strongest part of good 'ol Westsider's point. That they aren't cutting something no longer popular or bad for the park, but something most theme parks would kill for the ability to have.

(And I do mean intimately.) You should hear them rip the WDW version to shreds. From very outdated lighting rigs and muddy audio, to value-engineered pyro and production values worthy of a Junior College drama department, they've got an amazing perspective on everything that is wrong with the WDW version that is still firmly stuck in the 1990's. And we didn't even touch Captain John Smith's mullet wig. But nice that DHS Operations are at least trying to perform what they have once per night now this summer. I wonder what brought about that sudden change?

So it clashes badly with the rest of the animated Disney movies. Plus Pocahantas is so glamorized, the main character clashes with her own original self! ORGOCH: Yup, I don't like Joke-a-hantas neither! ORDDU: How soon will this travesty be updated, duckling? Any news regarding that?

Depending on how large the refurb is..... and if it actually changes the show.... I wonder if I'd even see it again. Not worth the amount of time and aggravation to wait in that wooded queue for... Wouldn't mind getting Tokyo's version....

When I saw it in Disneyland in '09 it was really a class act.
