That's the big question, but otherwise it wouldn't make sense to call it Episode VII, even if it's just a working title.

I hope that Hamill, Ford and Fisher will do cameos to get a nice transition from the old generation to a new one.

    Sure it would.

The events between III and IV took place 17 or so years apart. ;)

I can imagine that there will be a time frame of 20 to 30 years between OT and ST.

Since Disney acquired LFL, I tried to get more informations about SW. I only know the movies but I found out that there is a huge fanbase about the so called Expanded Universe. I've never heard of that before, but they care a lot about it and it seems they fear that the new movies will interfer with the EU. So what is the EU about?

If I were the creators, I'd ignore it completely and start fresh (but remain consistant to the other movies).

Did George Lucas care about the EU? I guess Michael Arndt can't know everything about the EU and so it will not be considered for the new movie.

Isn't that phrase taken from The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy? I love that movie.

    Exactly!

    >>I love that movie.<<

But please note ... the movie is pretty weak sauce compared to the books it's based on. And the books are weak sauce compared to the BBC radio dramas *they're* based on. If you love the movie, please don't stop there!
