Factor in some practical AAs in both Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (including Darla in the lagoon which has recently been added to the ride) and The Seas with Nemo & Friends too. But yup WDI must hate AAs.

You know the whole lame argument from Gamecubes and ipods and the Internet etc ... so no one wants 20 minute immersive attractions, right? Yeah, that's why folks line up for Pirates and Mansion etc ... because they want to sit in a theater and interact with a character.<< I still haven't read one reason anywhere why the generation of ipod users would rather pay $60 to sit in front of a bunch of video rather than sit in front of a bunch of video with a robot thrown in for good measure that can do what Roz does at DCA. A robot that stays fresh. >>Please. Someone ... buy a clue.<< They can't. It's not in the budget, those free trips, retreats, and dinners cost too much.

We get a combo of Adv. Club and Turtle talk instead?? What happened to the benefits of cloning?? Hmmm. Maybe it's too similar to Midway Mania. It sure sounds like the Monsters, Inc. ride I would want at my home Disney park.

And for ChiMike I have to agree with you 100%, what I think is happening is that the imagineers are lacking off & not trying to put on the best performance ever. I think Disney theme parks have a way with AA's, just look at Flick & Hopper in It's tough to be a Bug or Stitch & the Yeti & there all in WDW & to top it off people that visit WDW alot like me are use to seeing at least one AA in a show & in Tomorrowland especially there should all be a AA in the attractions. Just look Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, Stitch's Great Escape, Carousel of Progress, & Timekeeper which is gone for Monsters. So I'm really upset since there is no AA in this attraction since it is Tomorrowland & robots could be anywhere in the future.

WDI may not hate AAs, but they have clearly moved far, far away from the immersive AA-filled shows and attractions of the past. While you can point to Stitch and the Yeti, both of which are kewl, to show WDI's supposed embracing of the technology, I can point to the hundreds of figures that left Epcot over the past decade ... or to the incredibly poor maintainance done on shows like CoP, HoP, Mansion and Splash at WDW ... or to seeing an embrassing Pooh darkride take the place of TWO theaters full of AA characters in Anaheim. Adding Depp to PoC is simply a marketing ploy plain and simple. I agree with it, but let's not make it more than it is. And pointing out that 70 AAs will be used in a TDL attraction only shows that OLC is willing to pay for them. How many AAs are in DCA ... or DSP ... or HKDL? And how sophisticated are the ones in those parks? Case closed. I win a free FastPass!
