I agree with the Disney Toilet Guru.

Guess that no one's too upset about the loss of birthday cards for Aurora, huh?

Oh no I have no memory of said photo :) Hopefully is was not during on on-line dating years :)) lol

I have to say, I am just in general getting excited. And the Disney momentum seems to be on a good track. It "feels" like the creative people are driving the bus versus the accountants.

If Disney wants my money - guess what - wow make and make me WANT to give you my money. I haven't felt that in a long while. What I am seeing now is close to a one two punch.

I hope they do keep going and give me a knock-out. what would be a knock-out? Well - the the creative run it and express their talents. stand back and just pay for it and stay out of their way.

They aren't the only choices, that's just the thing. Disney doesn't have to be cheap and stupid in making things exciting again. That's a excuse.

Mine Train. It's the better ride.

But don't bank on the fact that we are going to get another DR in that spot... It's TDO. They are spending to rip out a ride and put a MGs in. That's gonna be the end of it.

The Little Mermaid attraction and B&TB resturant were part of the original announcement. The closing of Snow White is not a good thing in my opinion.

If Disney really wanted to impress there would be several attractions being built as well as referbs of existing dark rides. Like the Fantasyland redo that DL did years ago.

Have to agree with that, if anything.

Spirit says I'm the Disney Toilet Guru?! Wow, I'll be adding that to my entry in Who's Who.

And I completely renounce this unauthorized bio. It was written by someone at WDWMagic who is bitter about being turned away from one of my magical restroom tours.

FYI: I will be publishing my official bio in May, "When You Wish upon a Flush: Living with Pooh in the Magic Kingdom."

If its a discussion about aspects of something and not the same old complaints then fine.

I don't see any repetition, to be honest. New issue, new thread.

    I baffled myself.

The discussion and Fox's piece (I think Fox correspondents are a little high on pixie dust as well!) make it sound as if this is the very first time an expansion to Fantasyland has been announced.

The only new thing here .... Is the revision. And that revision ... while giving one nice "plus" - The Snow White Mine Train .. also brings a "minus" to Fantasyland dark rides. (Snow White's Scary Adventure)

If anything ... look how many cartoon franchises exists within Disney's massive library ... that are just dying to be created into a "pint size" Fantasyland dark ride.

What they did here ... was place the mine train where the Princess Meet and Greets were .... and are now TRANSPLANTING them into a current and valuable "dark ride" location.

Another thing in this revision - No Pixie Hollow. Gone. And with it .. that rumored "Mater's Junkyard Jamboree" clone .. themed to Tinkerbell's friends.

I can't get excited over a "New Location" where Dumbo will go. So, there'll be a duplicate one sitting side-by-side.

    Big wuff.

For the few pluses .. there are plenty minuses ... that make this revision not much in terms of a net gain.

Just a re-shuffling of the same funds, is what this appears to be.

I think if Disney really wants to tout this as something so grand .. and to compete with Potter over at Universal/Islands of Adventure ..... then they need to reserve Snow White's Scary Adventures for a new dark ride idea. Maybe Repunzel .. or any one of HUNDREDS of other Disney characters never turned into a Disney theme park ride.

And instead of holding on to a few remnants of Toontown .. just north of the future dualing Dumbos ... THAT location needs to be reserved for something BIG ... that will put this New Fantasyland over the top.

The mine train is looking more promising. It's now looking more that it's 1/3rd outside. And 2/3rds inside.

But I'm breathing with an "air" of caution.

How many times does preliminary "concept" art look better than the finished product??

    Like .. ALL the time?!
