Is there any substantial post somewhere that describes this "Snow White Mine Train" ride? I'd like to learn more about it. Princess Meet and Greets Canned? The sections where Toontown are .. Previously slated for Tink and dual Dumbos. What's going on with that? One thing that I'm discerning here ... that I hope happens ... is that Disney does not build anything substantial between LM and the "Beast" restaurant. But leave a superficial barrier that can someday open up .. to expand Fantasyland even deeper ... all the way to the railroad tracks. The current work still resides within the same footprint .. that 20K took up. If someday they create a wide path to reach the WDWRR .. then that will be an "expansion" worth talking about. And the Mermaid ride itself seems to take up the exact same footprint as DCA's will. I get the feeling .. facades aside .. they'll be a perfect "copy" of each other.

The land would have to close early every single night, and then stay closed for the cleanup.

But a friend who has worked on FLE describe it as, "Really cool." <<Princess Meet and Greets Canned?>> Yes. Except for the Belle one. <<The sections where Toontown are .. With WDW's 28,000 acres of land ... they can relocate anything ... if they wanted to. At the rate execs for TDO work .. you're probably right. To do what they are doing now .. is probably considered a miracle by their standards. HOWEVER .... the indication is there: <a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_9zHsUff1sjE/TS5jrD5yPSI/AAAAAAAAAyc/zcYcjY5GGSg/s640/opening%20to%20more%20FL%20expansion.JPG" target="_blank">http://lh5.ggpht.com/_9zHsUff1...sion.JPG</a> Where there was a sub lagoon ... will be a "natural" path .. that could lead to future possibilities .. that could for the first time connect the WDWRR to Fantasyland. Won't be any time soon. Fireworks "shoot off" point can be moved a bit ... a little further back. The potential is there ... (whether or not they chose to do) .. at some point in the future.

The cladding of the show buildings is obviously different. DCA's is also considerably below grade, so Florida's needs a bigger cover up. Hence, the mountain range!

The mine train coaster is slated to go exactly where it was originally proposed: on the space that was going to be the other princess meet and greets. And while I haven't heard 100% that SWSA is going to be replaced, I strongly believe that to be the case (and that's fine because they have neutered it almost as badly as say taking a certain word out of Huck Finn or reading the Constitution while skipping over some parts). <<* And if the current "Snow White" ride becomes dust .. then what will replace it?>> I've heard meet and greets at first, then possibly another dark ride. <<* I get the feeling Tink's area is on thin ice. Then what? who knows? <<Seems some entirely new ideas are going to be announced in the not too distant future.>> I wouldn't count on it. Disney itself doesn't seem to know exactly what it wants to do and, more importantly, spend. I really think they are playing things very close to the vest. There will likely be a new DVC announcement very shortly, however (seriously).

But I can see how that restroom, and queue could be flipped to the back side of each new development. Just food for thought. And the more I look at the THEN proposed spots for Aurora, Cinderella, and Pooh .. I see that's a pretty good chunk of land. The possibilities to do something significant are huge. Such as that Snow White mine train idea.

Belle 2. Aurora 3. Cinderella 4. Pooh 5. Tinkerbell 6. Ariel Am I missing any? And by the sound of it .... So Belle stays .. and Ariel too, who is forgivable, since she's part of a larger attraction .. and she's just complimenting it.

I'm even making a pilgrimage to say my last goodbye's to Tentland, but I'm sure you'll be able to buy all sorts of 'fan' made DVDs soon! <<Well .. it sounds like the only "for sure" things going on are: * Little Mermaid * Beast restaurant * Gaston's Tavern * castle wall ... and some huge patches of grass lawns to cover the areas slated as "yet to be determined.">> That's pretty accurate.

Seems Snow Whites Scary Adventures won't be biting the bullet just yet. Seems it will hold on for a while. One person thinks it will be closer to DLP's Casey Jr. Circus Train .. then Lee comes in .. and says .."Similar, but still different." And that it would be 1/3 indoors .. 2/3rds outdoors. Many feel that should be flip-flopped .. and I agree. I guess it depends on what the overall ride length would be .. and how many "showroom" scenes there are .. and how long they, individually, run. There's all kinds of possibilities. It could start with a "showroom" scene .. then do the outside bit ... then end in an indoor scene. Or mix it up. Slow through a scene .. then speed up and go outside .. slow back down .. to another "show" scene .. etc. The more "show" scenes they can do ... I feel the better. Coasters running around outdoors are such a dime a dozen. But a richly themed one .. with a few well themed interiors ... will set it a part from the rest. I haven't been to WDW not since 1995, and I look at that Goofy Barnstormer rollercoaster. I look at Gadgets Go Coaster here in DL .... and I just hope this 2/3rds outdoor 1/3rd indoor .. turns out to be something not too short like those 2 mildly themed outdoor coasters. But something similar to the overall length like Casey Jr. at DL.
