You have to wade thru so much fanboi drivel to get to anything of substance. <<One of the posters with reliable information is "Lee" .. probably the same Lee here (Leemac).>> Nope. I know that 'Lee' and he most definitely doesn't come from the UK! He is a poster here as well ... when he isn't swimming in fanboi drool over on MAGIC! ;-) <<Seems Snow Whites Scary Adventures won't be biting the bullet just yet. Seems it will hold on for a while. One person thinks it will be closer to DLP's Casey Jr. Circus Train .. then Lee comes in .. and says .."Similar, but still different." And that it would be 1/3 indoors .. 2/3rds outdoors.>> Lee knows what he is talking about (most of the time). <<Many feel that should be flip-flopped .. and I agree. I guess it depends on what the overall ride length would be .. and how many "showroom" scenes there are .. and how long they, individually, run. There's all kinds of possibilities. It could start with a "showroom" scene .. then do the outside bit ... then end in an indoor scene. Or mix it up. Slow through a scene .. then speed up and go outside .. slow back down .. to another "show" scene .. etc. The more "show" scenes they can do ... I feel the better. Coasters running around outdoors are such a dime a dozen. But a richly themed one .. with a few well themed interiors ... will set it a part from the rest. I haven't been to WDW not since 1995, and I look at that Goofy Barnstormer rollercoaster. I look at Gadgets Go Coaster here in DL .... and I just hope this 2/3rds outdoor 1/3rd indoor .. turns out to be something not too short like those 2 mildly themed outdoor coasters. But something similar to the overall length like Casey Jr. at DL.>> Not been to WDW since 1995?!??! Oh boy, are you going to be surprised at ... how ... um ... ah ... ugh ... yeah ... uh ... oh ... how MAGICal the place is now. Sure, that's it ...

I anticipate plenty of brake zones. Or maybe the layout would be .. .you get your "indoor" scene over with at the beginning. Rest of the ride .. is 2/3rds coaster bit ... and done you are.

This is just the usual mediocre replacement plan, instead of actually ADDING to the parks. Pathetic.

News: That's not how you do it. If they really want to expand, really want to fix the capacity issues that have plagued the Magic Kingdom since the early 90's, they'd wake up, leave existing rides alone, and BUILD new ones in new areas. Otherwise, it's just TDO and Disney being cheap about with what goes where and how they can be lazy and dumb this expansion down before it even starts. I don't know why ANYONE would defend this kind of thinking. Unless.. I dunno... you just approve of what Disney already does, and think that the FLE is going to come out wonderfully the second the publicly strike the MGs and give us something new in the form of the Mine Train. To me? Nope, that's not gonna help. If they want to make FLE a REAL expansion, worthy of Disney quality (or what USED to be Disney quality) build new things, leave the old alone, save for upkeep, and don't rip out a ride for a non-event "attraction". The fact that SWSA is a 1971 attraction just makes this whole thing worse. Every MK around the world keeps it's dark rides. They also plus them so they aren't a joke, like ours are. No, other park's dark rides actually look modern, use modern technology and are clean and are in working condition. Ours don't, so I guess that makes it easy for them to be dismissed, and just cleared out for something else. Honestly, another ride would be fine. But a MEET AND GREET? Yeah, right. And unless there's a RADICAL change in WDW Management would have the Meet and Greet ripped out so soon after it's construction for a new ride. I would doubt that heavily, in it's chances for happening. I would think that once the MGs move in, we can kiss that ride space goodbye. And what does that leave the expansion with? TLM and SWSA II? Might be more land, and thus more capacity, but on the ride count, you are only coming out one ride ahead. The roster of MK attractions needs to be longer... not just newer.

I think the real outrage here is that they are likely going to make BoG a dining plan/ character dining restaurant, and I'll never get to go.

Anything less than that is exactly what Disney wants you to like, as it'll be cheaper for them. A REAL expansion would be adding things, but that's too expensive and complicated for WDC these days...
