And I also now have been convinced that, again as you said, the POTC movie was so popular because everyone who liked the movie, did so because they have ridden POTC. Those completely unrelated posts really did it for me. I have been TOTALLY convinced. Wow! Who would have thunk it???

Originally Posted By Roger55 <<only 25% of summer visitors to Disneyland are tourists>> That is referring to the percentage of the people who actually are at DL, NOT the percentage of people in the state, west coast, whatever. Let's use small round number to make it easier to understand. If there are 100 people at DL, 25 of those people are probably tourists. That means 75 are locals. That was the statment. How this has bearing on what percentage of Californians/west coasters have been to DL is beyond my comperhension. I would like to spend more time trying to make you see that you are confusing opinions with facts, applying opinions incorrectly, and not formulating a reasonable argument what so ever. But I also need to spend time teaching my cat how to program my Tivo. My bet is on my cat!

I have backed up everything I said with numbers and percentages. I have stated nothing as a fact, only given my opinions, which is what everyone else does on these boards. You don't seem to like it when I give a reasonable explanation for my opinions, and you really don't seem to like the FACT that a couple of other people here stated the very same thing I was trying to argue. So since you have no good response, you say something ignorant and try to claim that it is irrelevant information. YOu make yourself look like a moron. <<applying opinions incorrectly>> Opinions cannot be applied incorrectly, they are OPINIONS, duh ! Go ahead and bet on your cat. He needs all the encouragement and support he can get. You are probably too ignorant to program your Tivo yourself, so if he wants to watch anything he better learn how.

And as the debate ensued, more and more flaws in the argument came out. But I realize that it was futile to try to make mickey4239 see it that way, and the personal attacks headed my way. I should have just turned the other cheek. Thanks russ for making me realize this. I just wonder if you too will now be called out now for stating here that mickey4239's numbers are flawed?
