Yeah, if you can visit both coasts, then DL is the much better park. But there are a lot of people who CAN'T visit both coasts, and a WDW without the MK is kinda like taking the heart out of the place.

Of course MK would never close, if ever they closed one. It is the icon, and it is "the best" to millions who do not know the other MK's around the globe.

But to me, would I visit WDW without MK? Yes, I would. But I would not visit without Epcot or Dak. Studios is a wash, I prefer the one in Paris anyway (although we would love to have the Gt Movie Ride, Muppets and Sci Fi Dine in.

I even asked a CM where it was and got this snotty answer about going out the Main Gate and driving on Rte 4 and it will be there. Why don't they have a bus going to it? What good is Harry Potter if Disney doesn't have a way to get us to it? Close it, I say!!!

Maybe you should visit the place once before deciding to close a 500 acre Theme Park!

The better way to ask the question is:

Which of the four parks would you like a "redo" on?

In that case I would go with the Studios. It isn't crowd/pedestrian friendly for one thing. Even with the various additions it is still too small. Even its location causes too much congestion on that side of the WDW property. That said, I enjoy many of the attractions IN the park...I would just redesign it.

RT -- are you channelling Spirit here ?? Close the MK and you might as well close WDW -- most peole's first trips are for their little kids. If you don't offer that the others will not be self sustaining.

There IS a reason every overseas Disney park starts with a clone sort of MK

A clone sort of Disneyland you mean, the original (and I would argue in many cases) the best MK.

Ignoring the fact that Disney can't support 4 parks at WDW and the infrastructure can't handle it... Great theming? Yes. Preachy? YES! Full of great rides and shows? FULL? Not even close.

I know I sound like a Disney apologist, but I'm not - there's plenty that they do wrong at WDW. But DAK isn't one of those things, IMO.

I don't think many will agree with you here. Sure, you get where you're going...eventually.

However, it's more efficient to take your own car and not rely on Disney Transport at all. DAK is the worst regarding transportation due to its remote location and 100% reliance on buses.

Epcot, It is my most favorite. It could use some more countries in World Showcase.

MK you can't close that so many people that don't know WDW like all of us here. See that as WDW. The castle is what comes to many guest mind when you say MK or even WDW. ( remember most of us or NOT your average WDW guest.)
