You know it wouldn't be that hard to create an android app that will print out counterfeit fast passes while you are at the park. There are small battery powered printers that could handle the task. They are nice and portable and link to the phone via bluetooth or USB.

The ECVs are the absolute worst, and I've run into so many downright rude people riding them. They think they own the parks.

Line jumping teens and people who have one person in their party stake out a 1/2 acre of prime viewing are for the parades bother me a whole lot more.

Does the law state that it has to be "equal", or something else? I don't know all the specifics of ADA, but my understanding is that everything has to be equally accessible not necessarily an equal experience. It would be impossible to make every theme park experience the same for guests in a wheelchair and vice versa.

"And as shjym touched on (and a friend pointed out on Facebook), you could easily just go into Guest Relations and say you have a disability of your own and skip hiring the guide all together."

Yes, but then you'd have to change your baby's diaper and feed it yourself while visiting the park. In other words, there are more perks to having these guides than just skipping the lines.

That's the solution! Kar2oonman and I had that same idea of printing out counterfeit fast passes - and even experimented its use at Disneyland some years back.

Alas, Disneyland Securirty became suspicious when our rented stroller had an inkjet printer and several hundred feet of extension cords tucked under a blanket.

I can't speak for now as I'm going back probably at least 4 years if not more. My sister had epilepsy her whole life and we never once even thought about using a pass (assuming they were for wheelchair users only) until it was suggested to us by a CM when we made our booking who informed us that a letter from a Dr would be needed. We only ever used it a couple of times if she was having a bad day.

I'm not sure what the current rules are!!!

Also, I shouldn't have dressed like a giant baby with the pacifier and bonnet and everything. Being a detail-oriented person, I thought it would help with the ruse, but Jim could barely push the stroller at all.

You'll notice that I left those details out, Kar2oonman. Intentionally!

Separate but equal? That always works so well.

"...and people who have one person in their party stake out a 1/2 acre of prime viewing are for the parades bother me a whole lot more."

One person? At DL the other afternoon, I saw big blankets without anyone holding the fort. Disney really need to put a stop to this. Staking out your spot hours beforehand is bad enough if your group is actually there waiting. Tossing down a blanket to go on rides should be completely unacceptable.

I don't particularly want that spot for myself (I can usually get a great view with minimal wait), but that's really selfish behavior. And I bet that those people have seen Fantasmic many times.
