David Michael, you're like having an uncle I could just call up for any information I need on Disneyland at any time, it wouldn't suprise me if you knew every CM's schedule:. Westsider - haven't seen your posts in awhile, glad to see you're around. Hopefully you'll be working when I make my pilgramage back to Disneyland. Keep in mind this source is not what i'd call 100% reliable but this *rumour* and please note it as such: <<<The vehicles As with the old Submarine Voyage, the ride's submarines do not actually submerge; they are boats in which the passenger seating area is below the water level. For the Finding Nemo version of the attraction, four seats will be added to each submarine, bringing each sub's capacity up to 42 guests. This will be done by replacing the old entry staircases with less space-consuming staircases. It is unknown whether the submarines will be renamed or repainted for the new ride.>>> I do not know if it's true, DB, WS etc could you see if it is, or if this is wishful thinking? Also most of the equipment and stuff has been taken out of the lagoon and all that is left is the lighting/genorator which can be moved pretty fast.

We've had past posters make some absolute declarations, with solid dates, that just seem to disappear after that date passes. Good job taking the high road.

From what I understand, the leaking was pretty severe but they could never definitively find where it/they were and patch them. But I guess they will know for sure in a few days whether it worked or not.

Greater capacity is great, but yikes - I don't remember those staircases being particularly large before. And Americans are bigger in general than we were in 1959.
