Well, I only saw it once, and that was before I managed to catch Off Kilter, so hopefully that lame stuff I recall wasn't anyone from Off Kilter - especially not the Bagpipe player I have the hots for! lol

And, yeah, it freaked me out the time I saw my favorite female Adventurer's Club CM (I like her best as Samantha) hosting the singers at the America pavilion in Epcot. That was just WEIRD! lol

That was enough to make me enjoy it.

But without the kids, I probably wouldn't have seen it more than once.

Yup, a waste of an hour IMO, like a bad American Idol episode.

Well...hmmm... I admit. Nearly nude men on vines will get me to watch American Idol.

I've probably already said this on this thread, but I just don't understand this perception, unless you saw the show on a rare bad day. I've seen the show twice a year since it opened (once each trip), and have never seen anything even close to messy production. And the singers are exceptional, especially the girls who do the solo riffs in You'll Be In My Heart. And the musicians are first rate, especially the guitar and bass players. Excellent musicians, excellent singers, and terrific production. And, if I may be so bold, this opinion is coming from a guy who's been in show biz in one form or another most of my adult life.

To each their own, tho . . .

I've only seen it once, being a west coaster, but my reaction was that it showed a degree of talent and professionalism that Anaheim is rarely able to match. Maybe Aladdin on a REALLY good day?

I also thought it was the best show I saw during my entire week at WDW--even edging out Lion King. FYI, I also have stage/singing experience, I haven't been a teenager in years, and I don't give a gorilla's patoot about nearly nude men.

Now that is only *MY* opinion so let's not start the "you're so jaded argument here" Some people actually do not care for TDR shows...so all is relative.

As for Tarzan shows go...DLP does it better.

That's exaggerating what me and Dan said just a wee little bit, y'know.

I have no problem with people not liking something - heck, who am I to say that we all must like what I like? But there's a difference between saying "it just doesn't work for me" or "the Tokyo shows are better", and saying "it sucks and the musicians are lame and there's no production value". I never challenge a person on his or her opinion. But I will always challenge statements of fact that are clearly not correct (at least according to my self-inflated sense of show quality!).
