I haven't seen them pop up at Mousesurplus. The chassis itself is the original Omnimover so I guess it is possible that the seacabs had to be smashed to remove successfully from the chassis. I will certainly find out.

However, is Lasseter willing/able/capable of putting up as much dough as OLC is willing to invest at TDR? Personally, I think many of expect way way too much from Lasseter. Maybe the day he buys Disney, then I would start believing in his "power".

The problem is with operating budgets and judgement from resort management. IMO, that is what makes TDL a superior destination, and it is something that John has a lot less to do with.

Michael Eisner at one time was the most influential person in the Walt Disney Company, just ask him how much control & ownership he had in 2004. Ask Roy Disney how much influence he can exert as a large shareholder. He was laughed out of Burbank by executives, employees of "his" company. Steve Jobs certainly has sway. That's probably putting it way too lightly. However, the Board of Directors also has to answer to a number of individuals in large faceless institutions who fancy themseleves as power players. Which they are.
