I remember when disney used to be a tonic for the soul, and Le Vis would inspiring me to know that "What one can concieve, one can achieve". Instead I can now play laser tag with some wooden flats. Oh joy!

The last true AA ride to be built is TDS' Sindbad, which is IMO one of Disney finest boat/AA rides, right up there with POTC and IASW, yet it's dead on most days. No one can figure that one out.

    >>I guess they are REALLY expensive to build.<<

Not sure how much a ride like Sindbad would cost but I wonder if it would be in the 100 million mark like Everest.. Besides, isn't IASW being concidered for HKDL? So there is hope for the genre yet.

Even Leemac says so (and Al Lutz first reported quite awhile ago), so it must be true ;-)

I didn't even know "Timekeeper existed until last year. No one talks about it, no publicity, and is it just me or was it in the worse place ever. Just doors. There was no sign, it didn't jut and there was never a line. Just a poster in a corner.

So I only got to see it once, and it made me laugh a lot. Then the next time, I came back and to my horror, Incredibles characters were standing outside and the theater was closed.

Timkeeper and Nine-Eye... you will be missed.

I'll miss it too. It wasn't a classic, but it was quality ... unlike Stitch.

And what you describe above is Disney's SOP in getting rid of any attractions, they make it seem like it doesn't exist years before it disappears so -- they hope -- no one will notice.

WoL is like that ... CoP is another, but with Lasseter onboard with Disney that could change.

But alas, both are pipe dreams and things WDW will never do.

Oh no it has been sooooo long since I was in there I had fogotten what it was! LOL For some reason I was thinking about TOM Morrow. Yes moving the TK to Epcot would be perfect.

The Imagineers should take an idea from Epcot's 3-D theater, which opened with a film that, basically, was a demonstration of the new process, then followed it up with a big name,big-budget sci-fi/fantasy adventure---and I know I've made this suggestion before---how about a fast-moving,thrill-a-minute sci-fi/fantasy adventure in the CV360 format,THAT'S never been done before! As for the common problem that plagued the makers of the previous films---finding,or in the case of Timekeeper, creating scenery that looks good on all sides---in this era of virtual sets, that would be no problem at all!

And a question about the COP. Does the P stand for progress? Because I have my doubts. I think that attraction should be sent to where it belongs, on dvd and in our warm fuzzy memories.

We no longer have a CircleVision360 venue in Disneyland. Or Disneyland Resort for that matter.

Because, you know, people don't go to theme parks for movies -- they go for RIDES!!!
