As Spirit said earlier, WDW is catering to a small minority of "commando"-style visitors, at the expense of the majority of more casual visitors. "

Nevermind people booking 6 months in advance, what about people like me who spend thousands on a Disney Vacation and book only a few months in advance??

I Visit Dl often and can tell you i dont plan on spread sheets and i never wait 2hrs for a ride and i park hop back and fourth throughout the day.

I think this new system would be stupid! whats wrong with first come first serve?

When it comes to WDW, our schedule is as open as Tobias Funke's relationship with his wife...we don't plan beyond dining and hotels. We wander the parks and see and do everything we want. I'm not sure I'd still visit WDW if I was forced to visit in some regimented, Big-Brother controlled fashion where I wouldn't have the freedom to do what I want (and pay for). Is that selfish of me? Or am I just trying to live up to what theoriginal designers intended?

Soarin Standby - 3 Days, 2 Hours from this point.

May I ask how you do that if you are following a spreadsheet for the trip? LOL

really quite easily-- things are laid out and we know that we have a set time to eat - IF we want to. We will stray off course if we like- but know then backup plans are catch as catch can. But we will NOT be caught eating an $8 cheeseburger at the Commisary because we didn't plan.

To know that we have a dinner at 7 PM at Boma on a day we know we are going to AK and we almost always leave by 3 -4 PM anyway is calming, not strenuous. Different members of the party may leave earlier or stay later but they know that at 6:45 - be in the lobby and ready to eat a nice meal.

so yeah, in a life where we juggled 2- 5-60 hour a week jobs, getting two kids to and from school and club sports 4-5 days a week, being a member of a school board, going to nite school to finish masters degrees - maintaining a large house, volunteering etc... following a spreadsheet in WDW at least loosely is a walkin the park

I don't care about the wacky stuff that the woman is going on about but the funniest part is at 2:13.
