    Strangely, no. I rode it a week or two ago, after the airlife, and the skipper still did the "and the most feared animal, his mother-in-law," followed by quickly by "she's usually here, but she has the day off." It was kind of entertaining for the regulars on the boat (kind of), and really confusing for all the folks who didn't know what was supposed to be there. The skipper had just done a trip through the jungle, so he definitely knew it wasn't there, which makes it all the more strange. I would assume that not all skippers are doing it, but it was very confusing that there was still one who tried to tell that joke.
