'Grizzly River Rapids' at CA Adventure. The entire purpose of those kinds of rides is to not just get a little wet, but to watch others in your raft get absolutely soaked to the skin. No. Add me to the 'doesn't like to get wet and slosh around a theme park for the rest of the day' list.

So, no, they're not necessarily for "everyone." >>The Storybook Circus area is a completely different animal from either Splash of any actual ride in a Disney Park.<< Isn't that neat? A variety of things to do. Some of them will appeal to you, others not, but that's why Baskin-Robbins makes 31 flavors, as my grandpa used to say (usually during a massive water fight vs. me and my dad. That's how we rolled.). >>Storybook Circus isn't a water ride.<< You're right. Circuses are no place for silly fun. Whatsamatter with those clowns? >>Kids also think cardboard boxes decorated with crayons are fun. Doesnt mean they should be in parks.<< I'm glad we never jump to extreme analogies in these theme park discussions. LOL

It's a massive property. A kiddie carwash is much better suited for anyone of the 30 something various Disney owned and non Disney owned resorts and hotels on WDW's property. One truely has to question the reasoning behind placing one infront of the trainstop in Fantasyland. I really don't see anyone in California says that DL could only be better if they had a kiddie carwash somewhere in one of the DL's parks.

As a grown up, it's hard to take a picture with so much water everywhere. And I wanted to take pictures because I love Dumbo stuff featuring Casey, and the numbers of the cars match the years the various parks opened. Oh, and the last time we rode Pirates we got drenched. Far wetter than we get on Splash these days. It was horrible, because we were completely unprepared for it. But that's what happens when you sit in the first row, of a very heavy boat I guess.

It was disturbing to think I was showering in Florida water let alone drinking it. I don't know for a fact just what filtering procedures that WDW does. I do know the water coming out of the tap at WDW resorts tastes like swamp water. I certainly don't want to be drinking it or bathing in it. To say the least it is subpar to the water elsewhere, like Atlanta or New England, where I grew up. If you want to dance around in swamp water, or let your children do that then fine.... I'm not going to.

(eye roll) Here's a fun fact for you: All the water on earth that is here today is the same amount that has always been here.
