lol that's like my argument in favor of FP too. The people who complain about lines will complain regardless - but now some of us don't have to wait with them and hear it! :D

    >>FP works like a charm when (as you put it) the park isn't that crowded as was your experience. When parks are crowded...it's a whole different ballgame. Waits to use FP time window may be longer and you are blocked off from obtaining another FP for longer periods of time... forcing you to do much longer and slower stand by lines as those found on uncrowded days, as was the case when you visited.<<

That's true but also after 2 hours you can get another FP anyway. We usually go in August which is not PEAK time but it is still fairly crowded and we've never had a problem (minus the aforementions Pooh and Space Ranger Spin) I think it just depends on how you plan your ride route and when you get there. With the FP system we've been able to get through sooo much of the park before lunch/dinner and finish so early we can go back and enjoy the small stuff we never really could or re-ride our faves..sometimes with another FP.

It also depends on your fellow guests - obviously if everyone who goes to Fantasy Land grabs a Pooh FP they'll run out faster but if people are snagging FPs for Pooh, Peter Pan, and HM (why? I don't know....even I think FP is stupid here) then you'll be able to get a FP for each of those attractions later in the day. The system isn't perfect but unless they told everyone "Okay go here at 8:30, then run to there by 9:00, etc. etc." for the ENTIRE day there will always be lines.

On a crowded day in early afternoon, 2 hours later, ALL FPs will be gone...at least that is the case I have encountered during crowded days..

I think most people here would agree June if a crowded time @ WDW. The only FP that were gone before very late afternoon I have ever encountered are Test Track - and last trip Soarin'. Maybe I have just been lucky - that that seems to hold true.

I also mainly use FP before dinner -- after dinner time we are winding down -- and walking off a good terryaki filet - or such, and not looking to cram a lot of rides in. So for me it works..overall harder to say
