The pirate rooms at the CBR work just fine, fit the theme and are only located in one village. If the ENTIRE resort went pirate I would take issue.

I could easily see one of the plantation wings at POR become "haunted", which would be really cool if done right, especially since the resort is designed more like a "village" in its layout. And I could see the "Princess" rooms (which look suspiciously like a less elaborate Cinderella's Castle Suite) being added to the French Quarter rooms.

When I stay at Port Orleans, I do so because it carries me away to an idealized version of one of America's cultural hubs in cuisine and music ... and some history too. The Haunted Mansion and Disney Princesses have no place there beyond some crap being sold at Jackson Square gift shop. This is just another godawful decision (and you better believe it will happen) of shoving Disney branding down the throat of guests. The theme is an idealized version of New Orleans. Keep the brand the blank out of my favorite moderate resort. ~Spin Day in Burbank!~

The family is staying in a CB Pirate Themed Room and I have to admit I am excited. Its availability got me to look at staying at CB again. I can't say with a straight face that if the Haunted Mansion Rooms were installed I wouldn't be excited to try them.

Yes, they possibly would be better suited for resorts like All Stars or POP Century, but having only a handful of them at Port Orleans (largest resort on property, isn't it?), then I'm ok with it as long as the themes stay within the rooms and the outsides remain the same. I've heard no real negative reports on Caribbean Beach's POTC and Nemo rooms since they're not visible to other guests on the outside. My guess is that this will be similarly done.
