The Wiggles are coming this Fall as part of the promotion to attract guests with children under 5.

    3. 20,000 Leagues... It was so so lame, some rides were made with very young kids in mind.. (I wonder, was this one of Walt's ideas, hmmmm, if it was he missed the mark on this attraction.

NJFIREGUY You just made my heart take a extra beat... That was our family's summer vacation spot for 16 yrs... I grew up vacationing with my family in Asbury Park in the 50's and 60's.. (We had family there)When I got married, I returned with my family further south to Pt Pleasant Beach... My kids,(now grown) talk more about memories from there then they do about Disney World... You will understand this then... When Disney built and opened Boardwalk and we went there.. we all had a good laugh... other then the wood the boardwalk is made of, there is nothing even close to the NJ shore... The smells of cotton candy and taffy being made... Italian sausage with peppers and onions on the grill cooking away for hours... the smell of the salt air... I could go on and on... I may just stop there on my way up north this summer... go to Jenkinsons for a piece of pie... (Pizza for those who dont know) I would love to hear from you about this... : )

You know i stayed there once I said the same thing. Im betting Everest is more like tibet, than boardwalk is like the Jersey Shore. (not that it isnt very nice). They even have lucy the elephant in the lobby.

my stomping grounds are a bit further south. Wildwood,Altantic city, Capemay that area. but if you do come through I would go to Pt Pleasant, i was there a few years ago and its totally retro the old campy rides and everything.

theres a great place called the sawmill for "pie". And dont forget your Zepolies, and salt water taffy.

    2. Country Bear Jamboree: Although not a ride, I am really quite surprised this hasn't been changed by now. Last time in there I had a very hard time keeping my eyes open.
    3. Primeval Whirl (AK) - I don't mind the hair pin turns or the up and down movement, but the spinning while doing that brings my nausea level to a maximum.

Gotta be Tom Sawyer Island. That's a real once-and-done attraction. From the packed like sardines raft ride there and back to the no destination trails, it just devours time.

I think Tom Sawyer Island was created as a place for little ones to blow off steam. I enjoy taking my son there. He was 6 years old on our last trip. We go over, he runs around exploring, then we have ice cream at Aunt Polly's, then head back to the park refreshed.

    It's a great diversion!
