There was a full party of 6 and they sat us at the table which was really awkward. The party looked confused and didn't know what was going on. We looked over the food which didn't look that good and we left.

The first time, was last October for dinner. We all got the sustainable fish, but I decided to be "adventurous" and have the regular spice, while everyone else got light spice. The regular was frankly, too much. I suffered through, I could tell the food was excellent, but it wasn't the right meal for me. I did enjoy the bread service and the chai creme though.

2nd time was lunch, about a month ago. I got the Tandoori Chicken, which was the best meal I've had on Disney property in ages. My Dad got the shrimp, and my Mom the Lamb Kefta appetizer. Both of them were not satisfied because they felt they had too much spice. My Mom especially, we basically fed her from food off the rest of our plates.

However, what was really disappointing was the service. We had to wait until my Mom got off work, so we basically had near the last lunch serving of the day. So the restaurant was not that busy. It took 20 minutes before we saw our server. Another server came by and took our drink orders and asked if we had any menu questions. Our server was pretty AWOL during most of the meal as well. Which is a problem when you are eating spicy foods and your drink glass isn't being refilled.

My DH and I really like the place, better since if my Mom comes it's 40% off. But I told him, either we're going to have to get used to paying full price or we won't be eating there anymore, because I can tell my parents didn't really care for it.

I've always enjoyed dining at the Biergarten. You are always seated with others at the same table... at first I thought it might be uncomfortable but it really isn't. Sometimes you are seated with talkative people and have a very enjoyable conversation... if a group of Disney-lovers can't find something to talk about who can? At other times you are seated with people who remain completely to themselves and that is OK too. Either way works for me. I really enjoy the food… my late wife's parents were first-generation Americans from German background and I grew to love her mom’s cooking. Biergarten gives me food just like "mom used to make".

I usually only indulge in one or two on property table service meals per trip, so I won't be wasting one at MM again just to see if they've improved since that meal.

We must have had different food. I ate there in...I guess it was 2008, and it was nasty.

The current dinner/photo packages are outrageously priced!!

I liked the market place better before it became downtown disney. It had a comic bok look and atmosphere.
    Now it is too commercial.

The Biergarten seating is just being authentic. Been to Germany a number of times, and that is the way most restaurants seat you there.

Cindy's "package" has absolutely turned us off - as two adults, what do we want with all of that, particulary at the prices they're charging. We used to go to it when it was King Steffan's, but not anymore.

Sanaa was one of our favorite places to eat lunch, until they changed the chef and the seasoning turned us off. (Not the spiciness, but the overuse of cilantro.)

Ate at Chef Mickey's this summer with the generational offspring, and the food was not bad (faint praise) for a buffet. Pricing was pretty terrible for a family of 8, but at least they took the Tables card.

So what has been stricken from our "eat at" list? Norway: without a princess tagging along, it is a real waste. Same for Hollywood and Dine, uless you have a true rugrat.

In the world of Disney fandom, it wouldn't be.

For the rest of the world, though, yeah...it'd be creepy.
