I remember reading about the program when it first started and thought it might be neat to have your face @ WDW. The first time I went after it opened it actually made me sad. I never occured to me that they would display them in such an unattractive manner.

There are 2 things I always take pics of when I'm down, the Castle & SSE(my husband teases me of course). When I look back @ my pics pre LaL it reminds me how intrusive and disruptive the stones are. There is no flow they just don't fit the themeing.

Anyway we can only hope they will find a new home where those that enjoy them still can and those that don't won't have too.;)

Their look has never bothered me, as I have my eyes up on Spaceship Earth and points beyond.

Regardless, they're not gonna be there for long.

At that point I would be very SAD that I didn't get my family picture into the Legacy digital primoridal soup.

No. There's a couple of others.

Both of them probably live in Texas.

    :)

And Pheneix, I've taken that affirmation to the bank, deposited it, and gotten a receipt. So...

Sigh. We take such abuse, living in a "state" of perfection as we do . . .

Why would you feel this way? I prefer to think that I got to be part of something that noone else will be able to any more. That makes the experience unique.

A QUESTION -- One important thing the Legacy sales area did do was to look people up on their computer so they could find their photos. Will there be a way to do this now with sales closed?

A BONUS -- Stones remaining on the sides would help mask the forest of purple strollers that are stored onstage on the left side of the entrance plaza.

ANOTHER BONUS -- Since the stones left on the edges would be the taller ones, there would be less opportunity for kids to climb on top of the lower ones that wouldn't be there anymore.

ANOTHER BONUS -- The smaller, removed stones could be bought on e-Bay. You could make counter tops out of them.

I don't particularly care for the "graveyard," but when viewed from the right perspective, they in fact do flow and fit the theme. The stones are placed and jutted at an angle to make it appear as if SSE is floating above them, or grew out of them; they are mimiced on the legs supporting SSE.

That's probably what I hate most of the whole thing - that stupid attempt to "paint" matching monoliths on the struts supporting the Geosphere.

    So incredibly banal.

    Stupid stupid stupid.
