The kids can build cars and race them. There is also a lego robot area and classes on it. For the most part there is nothing much for adults to do but there are a lots of place to watch the kids play in park like areas. I like the fire truck area where you work as a team and the Adventurer's Club walkthru.

I don't think I've ever criticized anyone's grammar here.

We've been twice, and both times were able to swing deals/bribe friends with comp tickets and have only paid for one admission for all 4 of us. I would never suggest anyone pay full price for this park. It speaks volumes to me that my son (almost 7 now and also very into Legos) has never asked to go back. We were all bored and there wasn't any fight in either child when we left. Our latest trip was in January 2014. The park looks its age. Legos are faded, missing, chipped paint everywhere, parts that don't work (such as water fountains the kids were trying to play with soon after the entrance). We didn't do the coasters, so maybe those are better. We were all very 'blah' about the other rides - long, long lines and short, short rides. We have not been to the water park. Hopefully that is worth it. Sorry. Try to find discounts. It's the only way you won't hate yourself for paying full price for what you get there.

If not, I recommend at least one trip while they are "Lego-aged" (12 and under). For what it's worth, my kids loved it. No, there isn't much for parents there. Think of it like taking them to the city park. You are pretty-much just hanging out and watching them do stuff. That said, there are a few rides that are mildly amusing for adults: Sky Cruiser, Knights' Tournament, The Dragon, Lost Kingdom Adventure, Wave Racer, Technic Coaster, and Coast Cruise. I took a LOT of pictures while we were there and kept myself busy by doing a lot on Instagram. I have fun watching my kids have fun. If you go with low expectations, you just might be surprised. The BOGO coupons really help. I also just discovered that you can add Legoland to a SoCal Citypass. We are probably going again in May. My oldest is 14 and my second oldest is 10, so the time table is ticking on how much longer we will be able to take them and come away happy.
