see josh you're missing the overriding point here - if you trash the other people personally but support Obama - you are still on the 'high road' - if you do it from a GOP standpoint - you are a Neocon Rovian.

You just have to read the bylaws in W/E -
    It's a load of..............

all I hear about is how McCain takes the low road and Obama supporters /team somehow never do...it's nonsense.

Why not dig into the family histories too - there's some great stories on Obama's dad there - just like that idiot 'comic' did on the VMA's to Palin's family.

Really this is what's wrong with politics in America right now.

Everything is fine when it's your candidate and their supporters doing it -

Why not raise the issues with Thomas Jefferson again also and maybe we can sully his name as well-

and before anyone looks in the archives I'll save you the time. Not that I likedthe fact Clinton dallied in the White House - I still thought it was wrong, but not a fatal issue - but I always had an issue with him lying about it dead on to the people on TV....

oh yeah, I keep forgetting Rush speaks for me and Michael Moore speaks for all democrats --

geez, he's a radio idiot whodraws a larger audience than some of the left wing nut jobs who do the same thing. They're all idiots and speak basicallt for themselves and a small group of idiots.

Alot of people listen to Howard Stern- does that make them all a wholes ?

    the stereotyping is really lame

not crybabies just tired of crap - and nonsense. Try and talk points on Obama's role in Illinois politics - get more generalizations....

hey why not just make everyone a cartoon character ?

When another poster was here a few years ago - ( those whose name wedonot speak) - he was widely ridiculed for doing the same thing.People were right,he did way overgeneralize stuff - but it seems now,one side is allowed that ability and it is accepted.

People did the samething here about Clinton - and it was just as wrong. Just focused on the cigar deal and not other issues either tied to it ornot....

and fyi - I ama registered GOP voter because my county is mainly GOP and I need to be so to vote in the primaries. I likely vote 60 -40 GOP to Dem, but basemy votes on the person and platform s- you can save your characterizations of me being some GOP crybaby,or a neocon or a Rove supporter,or Rush listener ( actually except for if they covered him on the news, have never even heard the show, nor do I want to) - and grew up a ried and true Chicago Democrat who worked for Daley's machine until I was 24.

So the Ralph Wiggum simplicities of being able to characterize anyone even remotely centrist or God forbid moderate is really sad --

I stated here often that if it was Hillary and McCain, I was waiting for the VPpicks to decide. There were points of each I liked and could vote for. For the record if it was allowed I would vote Bill over either ticket today. But I get the choice we all do- and having watched Obama's 'career' and who guided it and who he is tied to here,I choose not to support that...
but hey Karl Rove told me to I guess -- geez, seriously, this is a pretty critical time for our country....and I'm supposed to take a characterization of Bush sitting in the White House with a paddle ball as somehow realistic - sorry I choose not to pay any attention to that also.

Are you supporting any democratic candidates? The reason I'm asking that that you portray yourself as a centrist, yet seem dissatisfied with democratic policy and mighty comfy with GOP ones.

We see the same thing with RoadTrip. I should say that I appreciate your taking the time to contribute to this board, where you're somewhat outnumbered and sometimes abused for your frankness. BUT, you (and RT) do a better job of laying out your positions and your reasoning than other ... conservatives, shall we say.

Do you feel any need for accountability within the GOP for the past eight years? The trammeling of the constitution, and the rights of us americans? Torture? Signing statements?

Part of the indignation against republicans is a sense for the need to hold them accountable for their countless misdeeds, corruption, and incompetence. In order for someone to be enthusiastic about voting republican, it seems to me that first it's necessary to give them a pass on an entire laundry list of very real and documented offenses - and in some cases, crimes.
