It is rarely a boat ride for us when someone in our boat or a neighboring boat isn't taking flash pictures. Asking folks to refrain from talking won't matter, as they are too busy gossiping to hear the spiel anyway.

No one was doing it rudely - it was more of a quiet chant, as if people were doing it without really knowing it. But I can see where some folks (particularly clueless teens) could be saying the narration out loud and just being obnoxious. That would be very bad indeed!

A 15 minute attraction lie POTC probably feels like an eternity to a text addict. Heimlich's Chew Chew Train is about the correct level of detail and attraction length for them.

My husband doesn't even want to ride with me anymore because he knows how much it bothers me which bothers him.

Originally Posted By Dr Hans Reinhardt "I remember the old days when rude behavior was extremely rare at the parks." You mean back when a trip to DL was something rare, special, and unusual? I remember those days. People go so regularly now that it's only marginally better than visiting a Six Flags or the local mall.

I'd guess that 25% of our rides on Pirates have been ruined by chatting people or super flash photographers. On the train between NOS and ToonTown our whole car endured a man VERY LOUDLY making babysitting arrangements for his kids. Forget that anyone else was perhaps trying to hear the spiel, he couldn't wait the 5 minutes to arrange the babysitting. I would have REALLY appreciated texting in that situation
