OMG.... hysterical I know I should never share this, and I never do it at Disneyland, but when the situation can not be worsened by anything I do, I start talking to the loud talker as if they were talking to me. I just jump right in, like, "Oh, I know what you mean I hate it when that happens, now my sister, she had the same thing last year and......" It shuts them up. The funny thing, most the time people around them get what I am doing and laugh or join in. Sometimes it backfires and they follow me around. It's funny, they want attention, but not that much ;-) I'm thinking I should start wearing those seasonal sweatshirts so I look the part.

Several of us stepping on to the belt applauded her.

This not only got peoples attention and alerted them to the rules, it also got them to shut up while the room was stretching. DL could really use something like that. Plus, being in Europe, they made the announcement in several languages as they walked around. One CM did it 3 different ways, and saw a group who appeared left out and asked what language they spoke, and she provided the speil in a fourth lanugage. There was no reason for anyone to be unclear on the procedures. While DLP gets a lot of flack for poor maintenance and unenthuastic CMs, that was really a highlight of my trip. Now, if only we could implement those same policies in the US (or at least at DL where people seem to be particularly obnoxious in the stretching gallery)...

I agree HMH is too bright in a lot of places, but some areas still are dark, and even in the brighter areas, flash just makes a bad thing worse.
