So do you have this all framed and hanging up now? What a treasure! Thanks for sharing.

And fwiw, I got a very nice, seemingly personalized response to an e-mail I sent a while back about Bengal BBQ. It probably wasn't *actually* personalized but it seemed like it to me and perception is reality (and great p.r.). So "nice letters" are still being sent. :) LOL.

No. It has been stored away. The original drawins that I sent are still stapled to it. I don't have rom to display all of my Disney stuff so it will stay store away for now.

Yep. And Knott's, taking their cue from DL, used to be closed on Wed. and Thurs. instead. So out of town visitors who couldn't go to DL on Mon. or Tues. could conveniently go up the street to Knott's.

And TinksBestFriend, you are correct in remembering that DL's Autumn hours didn't start till mid-Sept. My best friend's birthday was Sept. 9, and we often went for his birthday, and always enjoyed summer hours. The reason was that California schools would never start before Sept. 10th. The 9th was a state holiday - the day California was admitted to the union - and it made no sense to start schools after Labor Day and immediately have a holiday in the first week. So school never started before the 10th, and DL kept summer hours until school started.
