I tend to agree. I don't recall posting a status on FB about donating to something, but I often post information about issues and advocacy items that interest me -- the point not being that it is about me, but that I want other people to be aware of those issues as well.

Who cares? I don't think the Haitians are going to be concerened with Tiger's motives.

What's that compared to half a billion!?

Well, then another topic for another time, but there's more to the concept than it seems you might understand. It revolves around keeping people in a style or manner of living to which they've become accustomed.

I believe that's exactly what Mr. X is opposed to. Accustomed schmustomed.

Oh, I understand it. I even agree with it to a point (as I said, NORMAL cost of living...). If they want to remain accustomed to being filthy rich though, they can make their own money.

    Then don't get divorced.

Rush was fired from a major Sacramento new radio station for his comments and public outcry. It's the same station that new national personality for Fox News TV/Radio, Tom Sullivan, just came from (which I am a fan of Sullivan). Of course, Rush's next step from Sacramento was to go national. But, he did lose his gig from a station he loved, due to reaction to what he said. And, radio shows personalities are taken off the air, or shows are cancelled with enough public outcry.

In the meantime, there are so many Americans and people from around the world who are already in Haiti or giving to Haiti (who still needs help) that I'm not worried about the comments of two people.
