-How the Grinch Stole Christmas has always been my favorite.
-Holiday Inn (not a Xmas special but I couldn't wait to watch it every single year.)

What are your favorite Christmas songs?
-Ave Maria is my favorite song, not just Xmas, but all-time favorite.
-O Holy Night is my current favorite
-What Are You Doing New Years Eve? (not much of a Xmas song though)
-Hey Santa! by Chris Isaak (not the crappy Carnie and Wendy Wilson song)
-Merry Christmas Baby, especially sung by Charles Brown and Bonnie Raitt.

What are your favorite Christmas albums/CD's?
-The Little Drummer Boy by Harry Simeone Chorale
-The Christmas Album by Manhattan Transfer
    -Christmas by Chris Isaak
-Have A Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives
-A Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra

Have you ever or do you go caroling?
-I haven't being caroling as an adult but I did a few times when I was a kid. When we lived in Alaska we had to drive from house to house because of the snow and the spread out houses. We also went on a few boats to sing. It was a lot of fun.
When I was in the 3rd grade and celebrating my birthday with a slumber party a group of carolers came by the house. We had been making cookies all evening and we invited them in and we all ate cookies and we sang a few songs around the Xmas tree. It was really neat and probably one of the reasons I love Xmas so much today.
I also did a lot of caroling with my school choirs.

Forgot about that one. Love it. I have a lot of R&B, Blues Christmas albums from my Dad's collection. Love them all, too many to name.

Including Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt, NOT Madonna.

I also like the soundtrack to The Preacher's Wife with Whitney Houston, good Christmas songs on it.

Yeah! Add that one to my list! (not Madonna's Betty Boop version -- blech).

I also like Christmas in Hollis, but mostly because it was in Die Hard.

Have you ever or do you go caroling?

When I was about 12, me and two friends did it sort of as a joke. One night we knocked on doors and acted like we were reading music [from a penny saver magazine] an elderly couple gave us 5 buck [wow] we felt bad cuzz we did it just as a joke and we were always goofing off getting into trouble and such, this was just another prank, so we gave the 5 bucks to a church down the street, they were having some sort of meeting, when we explained why we decided to give them the money, they invited us to go caroling with them a couple nights later, me and one other joined them. In all honesty we felt awkward, but overall it was fun. Once was enough.

Favorite songs is really hard. Carol of the Bells is probably it, but I like many of them, both those fun and light hearted and those more clasical and spiritual.

Favorite Christmas album is quite easily John Denver and the Muppets. Great fun but also deep and moving. I also like John's Rocky Mountian Christmas. And any Johnny Mathis brings back childhood-memorys (although we currently don't own any).

And I love caroling. We went last year with our church, the good ol' walk through the neighborhood, knock on a door, and sing! We even recruited people along the way, including a guitar player and a flautist (neither of who were members of the church).
