And just about every animated film by Disney and a few live action ones have been in the Emporium windows! You've got a few non-Disney films in here (Star Wars, Indiana Jones & the whatever)featuring non-Disney characters. What about this? The highlight of the Christmas Parade features the lead character from this movie! http://www.bmoviecentral.com/b moviecentral/reviews/Santa%20Claus%20Conquers%20The%20Martians.html I think you should sharpen and reduce the scope of what your after. I'd just leave out the Animation Building charachter appearances and things like that. Furhtermore, I want you to take this list and add to it what all the ties to DL are: ; - ) 101 Dalmatians Aladdin Alice in Wonderland Beauty and the Beast Brother Bear Bug's Life Cinderella Country Bears Davy Crockett Dumbo Fantasia Finding Nemo Haunted Mansion Home on the Range Honey, I Shrunk the Kids The Incredibles Indiana Jones Jungle Book Lady and the Tramp Lilo and Stitch Lion King Lullaby Land (short) Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Mary Poppins Mickey and the Beanstalk (isn't that the giant who has a quilt in the Storybookland Canal boats?) But since the voice-over at the animation building uses an actual clip from the film, that seems actually a bit less obscure than some of these others. (There isn't any real connection to Pollyanna on Main Street, I don't think, just a sort of vague sense that she might have lived in some place similar). And don't think we missed your sly insertion of "Porky's," SGV.

OK, so if we leave out obscure references, parades, Fantasmic, Animation building, and window signs, I think the list of movie references looks like this: 101 Dalmatians Aladdin Alice in Wonderland Brother Bear Bug's Life Cinderella Country Bears Davy Crockett Dumbo Fantasia Finding Nemo Haunted Mansion Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Indiana Jones Lilo and Stitch Lullaby Land (short) Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Monsters Inc. That has changed names a few times (at least once) and no longer exists. But - as far as references go - there are a few other Animated films that are not represented as well: Aristocats Oliver and Company Fox and the Hound Rescuers Rescuers Down Under (Basically - the 70's and the early 80's are NOT to be found)
Originally Posted By dresswhites i don't know country bears is kind of strech. most people don't even see the reference in Winnie. that is true there really is no sign of Robin hood, Aristocats, the rescuers, fox and the hound and the black calderon. also virtually no references to huncthback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, HOme on the Range, and the Emporers New Groove. So lets see if we don't count parades or Fantasmic, Aladin has the most representation: -the sultan palace and marketplace, the cave of wonders in Storybook Land, Alladins Oasis in Adventureland and the show in DCA and then little mermaid has eric's village, her undersea world in storybookland, her groto, her dining room and her father has a carrousel, so I guess the little mermaid has the most.

I know it seems like a bit of a stretch, but that's the official word. I'm not sure, but I think that they may also officially seperate between Ariel's Grotto (DL version) and the Trition fountain, even though I really see them as parts to the whole area.
