It's clear that she meant well, but she was so out of her element as President of DLR."<< I'm sure she did mean well. And she is probably a very nice person to chat with, and she probably doesn't kick her dog, and she probably votes and pays her taxes and is otherwise a good person. But what I loved most about her though is the element of showmanship she brought to the role, where the smarter folks among us could tell she really didn't care about the place like she said she did, but she knew that it was important to pretend like she cared in order to snow the diehard fans. Instead of being the Disneyland President, she should have run for the Senate. She would have had more success in Washington DC I think. She's a natural politician, in every sense of that unflattering word. At least we still have the archives here at LP! Miss ya Cyn!

Building anything in California takes a lot of time and effort to get through all the seismic codes and such. You can't just throw up a structure in 10 months like you could fifty years ago.

ORGOCH: Oh yeah? What 'bout a big fat sister who spends all her wakin' hours messin' things up with greasy food! Cain't even tell ya how many time's I've come close ta bein' buried alive under a mountain a donut crumbs!! Still, I'd love it if Dr. Hans Reinhardt would start making house calls whenever one of us is under the weather...

I'm more of the mad scientist type.

We sleep up above in a small attic that's barely large enough for the 3 of us. But if you're willing to live dangerously, you're totally welcome. I'll be sure to save you some room on my cot of straw with the feather pillows.
