    That's not true. Dept 56 sells year round and there were always people in there. Dept 56 makes other lines besides Christmas.

    I guess I just saw the most people in there at Christmas.

    In any case, I guess they just didn't do well enough.

    Guess they found that they could just sell wholesale to stores and let go of paying for retail spaces. Too bad-at least it wasn't the same ol stuff found all over the resort.

    Did you mean adult men? Because there are stores that cater to women and they are adults too. ;0)

    I understand that one of the two new stores at DtD is exclusive to Orange County and the other is the first outside of LA. I guess there is at least that positive aspect to this news. My biggest complaint about Garden Walk was that it was nothing but chain retailers, and mostly mediocre ones.
