Anyway, I thought it was a cheap way to lower expectations of Jindal and thus raise his stature vis-à-vis Obama. Hume is such a hack.

That was a major disadvantage. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have him come around the corner and walk toward the camera ... and toward the camera ... and toward the camera needs reassignment.

Is this really the best they got? Why did a Governor from LA give the response and not one of the Senators? Like say the Minority Leader, John Boehner.

The Republicans seem to be quietly wagering that Obama's plan will fail. Under Bush they cut taxes and threw away billion of dollars in Iraq and now they are accusing Dems of being irresponsible in their attempt to fix the mess THEY made. Pathetic.
Originally Posted By Mr X ***Then the lie about the mythological "Sin Train" that the GOP/FOX News has repeated ad nauseum.*** That's "Sin Maglev" now. (that's the first I heard it was a Maglev..pretty cool....was Jindal the first one to make that up?)

It appears they're "grooming" this Jindal character, what they see in him I suppose I really can't, but he sure did take advantage of his free airtime to promote himself, and Louisiana (who cares!?).
